“Your kingdom come.”  Matthew 6:10a ESV‬‬

Please let's read together the following scriptures of the Word of God and quotes of two important contemporary theologians that will help us to have more understanding about the meaning:

“Your Kingdom come”

Please, let's remember The Lord’s Greatest Prayer:

“I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me.         John 17:20-23 ESV

He wants us one on the earth, manifestly possessing that eternal life which puts the gospel on display.                                           John MacArthur

At the end of Jesus’ life, just as He was about to depart from this earth, His disciples had the opportunity to ask Him one last question. They asked, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” (Acts 1:6b). I can easily imagine that Jesus might have been somewhat frustrated by this question. I would have expected Him to say, “How many times do I have to tell you, I’m not going to restore the kingdom to Israel?” But that’s not what He said; He gave a patient and gentle answer. He said: “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority. But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” (Acts 1:7–8).

Similarly, when Jesus sent out seventy disciples on a preaching mission, He instructed them to tell impenitent cities that “The kingdom of God has come near you” (Luke 10:11b). How could the kingdom be upon the people or near them? The kingdom of God was near to them because the King of the kingdom was there. When He came, Jesus inaugurated God’s kingdom. He didn’t consummate it, but He started it. And when He ascended into heaven, He went there for His coronation, for His investiture as the King of kings and Lord of lords.

So Jesus’ kingship is not something that remains in the future. Christ is King right this minute. He is in the seat of the highest cosmic authority. All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to God’s anointed Son "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me." (Matt. 28:18).

“Your kingdom come.” What does this mean? What are we praying for when we speak this petition? There is a logic that runs like a ribbon through the Lord’s Prayer. Each of the petitions is connected to the others. The first petition Jesus taught us was, “Hallowed be Your name,” which is a plea that the name of God would be regarded as holy. Manifestly, unless and until the name of God is regarded as holy, His kingdom will not and cannot come to this world. But we who do regard His name as holy then have the responsibility to make the kingdom of God manifest.                                                                                                                      R.C. Sproul

The church is the kingdom of God, or the kingdom of Christ. We have been rescued from the kingdom of darkness and placed into the kingdom of God’s beloved Son. The church is the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit; He inhabits us. The church is the steward of divine truth; we are the pillar and ground of the truth. The church is the best taste of heaven anybody can ever have before getting there. We bring heaven down as much as is possible in this cursed world.                                                                                                      John MacArthur

As Christ Followers we are here to Hallow His Name!
As Christ Followers we belong to only one Kingdom, The Kingdom of Christ, we have only one citizenship!
As Christ Followers we are here to proclaim the Gospel!
As Christ Followers we must obey the Great Commission of our King Jesus!
As Christ Followers we are here to manifest the Kingdom of God through His Church, and it does not mean through one denomination, it means through the Body of Christ!

The Loayzas want to continue having this truth in their lives and in the ministry that God placed in them for His Glory!

“but as it is written, "Those who have never been told of him will see, and those who have never heard will understand.”

                                                                                                                Romans 15:21

“For the Messiah was not spoken of to the Gentiles; they were strangers to the covenants of promise; the oracles of God were committed to the Jews; God gave his word and statutes to them, and not to any other nation: and yet, according to this prophecy, the Gentiles were to see him whom they had no account of; not in the flesh with their bodily eyes, in which sense only, or at least chiefly, the Jews saw him; but with the eyes of their understanding, by faith, as exhibited and evidently set forth before them as crucified, in the Gospel and the ordinances of it: and though they had heard nothing of him, having for many hundreds of years been left in ignorance, and suffered to walk in their own ways, until the apostles were sent among them; whose sound went into all the earth, and their words to the end of the world; yet when this would be the case, according to these words, they would understand the mind and will of God, the mysteries of his grace, the nature of the person and offices of Christ, the design of his coming into the world, and the way of salvation by him; all which was greatly brought about and accomplished, in the ministry of the Apostle Paul among them.”

John Gill

Because God’s word is our assurance, we are convinced that “they would understand the mind and will of God, the mysteries of his grace, the nature of the person and offices of Christ”. Therefore, we will continue faithfully to accomplish what God has called us to do.

Please continue praying for our support

We praise God for the opportunity to serve Him among the Immigrant community of DeSoto County, Mississippi with the gospel of God in Jesus Christ.

Thank you for your prayers, Jaime & Sere Loayza.

"The Kingdom of Heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up. Then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field." Matthew 13:44

“The Kingdom of Heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up. Then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.”

                                                                                                                                           Matthew 13:44

“In this parable and the next he represents it as of great value in itself, and of great advantage to those who embrace it, and are willing to come up to its terms; it is here likened to a treasure hid in the field, which, if we will, we may make our own.
Jesus Christ is the true Treasure; in him there is an abundance of all that which is rich and useful, and will be a portion for us:
All fulness “For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell.” Col 1:19 “And from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.” Joh 1:16
Treasures of wisdom and knowledge “in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” Col 2:3,
Of righteousness, grace, and peace; these are laid up for us in Christ; and, if we have an interest in him, it is all our own.”

Matthew Henry

As His disciples and His servants, we may make Christ as our own treasure to know deeply the great value in itself, and of great advantage to those who embrace it, and to be willing to come up to its terms this year 2019.

Mario Moncada from Honduras, started visiting the Spanish Bible Study last year. Since last November 2018, Mario is attending faithfully at the Spanish Bible Study and Christ Fellowship.

Please pray for us, we need the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ to accomplish what God call us to do, like apostle Paul asked to the Philippians
For I know that through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will turn out for my deliverance, as it is my eager expectation and hope that I will not be at all ashamed, but that with full courage now as always Christ will be honored in my body, whether by life or by death. For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

"...I give thanks but all the churches of the Gentiles give thanks as well."

Greet Prisca and Aquila, my fellow workers in Christ Jesus, who risked their necks for my life, to whom not only I give thanks but all the churches of the Gentiles give thanks as well.”

                                                                                    Romans 16:3-4

He could retain the remembrance of so many; and his heart was so full of love and affection as to send salutations to each of them with particular characters of them, and expressions of love to them and concern for them. Greet them, salute them; it is the same word, aspasasthe. “Let them know that I remember them, and love them, and wish them well.” There is something observable in several of these salutations.

Matthew Henry

As the Apostle Paul showed the greatest love and affection for all who were fellow workers in his ministry, it is the same feeling from The Loayzas to each of you! And wish you a Happy New Year 2019.

Please continue praying for the Ministry God has giving to us in 2019!

“But when he who had set me apart before I was born, and who called me by his grace, was pleased to reveal his Son to me, in order that I might preach him among the Gentiles..."

“But when he who had set me apart before I was born, and who called me by his grace, was pleased to reveal his Son to me, in order that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately consult with anyone;.”
                                                                                    Galatians 1:15-16

“Here begins his account of his conversion, and call to the ministry; all which he ascribes entirely to the sovereign good pleasure, and free grace of God.”

divine predestination, which is a separation, a setting apart of persons, for such and such purposes, as here of the apostle; and the eternity of it, it being very early done, from his mother's womb; whilst he was in it, before he was born, and had done either good or evil; from the beginning of time, from the foundation of the world, and before it, even from eternity: all which phrases express the same thing, and intend either his predestination to grace and glory, to holiness and happiness, to sanctification of the Spirit, and belief of the truth, and to the obtaining the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ; or his predestination to apostleship, to the work of the ministry, to the Gospel of Christ, to which he was separated in eternity, and in time; reference seems to be had to Jeremiah 1:5 or indeed both, and his separation or predestination to both was owing to the sovereign will and good pleasure of God”
                                                                                                                                  John Gill

“I have received full payment, and more. I am well supplied, having received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent, a fragrant offering, a sacrifice acceptable and pleasing to God.”                                                                                                                                                                        Philippians 4:18

“The apostle assures them that God did accept, and would recompense, their kindness to him. He did accept it: It is an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, well-pleasing to God. Not a sacrifice of atonement, for none makes atonement for sin but Christ; but a sacrifice of acknowledgment, and well-pleasing to God. It was more acceptable to God as it was the fruit of their grace than it was to Paul as it was the supply of his want. With such sacrifices God is well pleased.”

Spanish Bible Study
We finished the Epistle of Ephesians, what a blessing was studying this epistle exactly for a year! And also we finished Series for 7 weeks “Making Disciples”. We celebrated that, and what a better idea to have a graduation. Each person who completed the series received a Diploma from Christ Fellowship as a recognition of their participation.

Another great news, is that we have started to study the Epistle of Galatians!

Please continue praying in order to God prepare our hearts for the new study and continue making Disciples.

Prison ministry at Hernando Jail.
Saturday, October 27th at Hernando Jail. We continue teaching about the Gospel of Mark.

David and I had a huge surprise. David told me that he prayed in order to have more inmates in the Bible Study last week . David told me: “Jaime, I asked God for just 4 more”. And God surprised us with 20 inmates!

Another amazing story was that one the inmates recognize me. Before summer, I went with Ps. Clint Wilcke and Daniel Stanphil to a funeral in Hernando from a man who was shot in Memphis. That day I met the family members. One of them, was this guy who told me at the Jail: Sir, do you recognize me? You were at the funeral of my brother. God’s sovereignty and providence allowed me to meet him for that moment. I encouraged him with God’s word.

"members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel"

"This mystery is that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel."    Ephesians 3:6

“The mystery revealed is that the Gentiles should be fellow-heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ, by the gospel; that is, that they should be joint-heirs with the believing Jews of the heavenly inheritance; and that they should be members of the same mystical body, be received into the church of Christ, and be interested in the gospel-promises, as well as the Jews, and particularly in that great promise of the Spirit. And this in Christ, being united to Christ, in whom all the promises are yea and amen; and by the gospel, that is, in the times of the gospel, as some understand it; or, by the gospel preached to them, which is the great instrument and means by which God works faith in Christ, as others.”
Matthew Henry

Please pray for us, we need the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ to accomplish what God call us to do, like apostle Paul asked to the Philippians

"for I know that through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will turn out for my deliverance, as it is my eager expectation and hope that I will not be at all ashamed, but that with full courage now as always Christ will be honored in my body, whether by life or by death. For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain."
