As Paul comes to the end of his letter, he wishes to nerve and to challenge Timothy to his task. Also is the same challenge for us today!
Jesus is the judge of the living and the dead. Some day Timothy's work will be tested, and that by none other than Jesus himself. A Christian must do every task in such a way that he can offer it to Christ. He is not concerned with either the criticism or the verdict of men. The one thing he covets is the "Well done!" of Jesus Christ. If we all did our work in that spirit, the difference would be incalculable. It would save us from the touchy spirit which is offended by criticism; it would save us from the self-important spirit which is concerned with personal rights and personal prestige; it would save us from the self-centered spirit which demands thanks and praise for its every act; it would even save us from being hurt by men's ingratitude. William Barclay
Also, we celebrated together “Lesly´s Birthday” was a great opportunity to engage more with Leslys sisters, Doris and Delmis.
Please pray for us, we need the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ to accomplish what God call us to do, like apostle Paul asked to the Philippians
for I know that through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will turn out for my deliverance, as it is my eager expectation and hope that I will not be at all ashamed, but that with full courage now as always Christ will be honored in my body, whether by life or by death. For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
Philippians 1:19-21
We always say in
Christ Fellowship “ We are a family, but we always are adopting ”
As a Missionary family is amazing to see families who we encouraged a couple years ago as is
the case of Whitthens family. We met them since 2012, and God use circumstances
to be connected and invited them in 2015 to Christ Fellowship and now they join to us as a members! Also, Arguellos Family, is very encouragement to see in them their love for Christ Fellowship.Praise
God who is the only one who brings the spiritual growth.
