You search the Scriptures…

“You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about me…” John 5:39

Christ owns that the religious did indeed search the scriptures, but it was in search of their own glory: “You search the scriptures, and therefore, if you were not willfully blind, you would believe in me.” Note, It is possible for men to be very studious in the letter of the scripture, and yet to be strangers to the power and influence of it.
“It is spoken to us in the nature of an advice, or a command to all Christians to search the scriptures. Note, All those who would find Christ must search the scriptures; not only read them, and hear them, but search them, which denotes, Diligence in seeking, labor, and study, and close application of mind, Desire and design of finding.”       Matthew Henry

God is challenging me to find Christ in searching the scriptures and also is my commitment to teach that to all those that God is allowing me to shepherd!

Prison ministry at Hernando Jail.
Saturday, April 28th David, Miguel and I were at Hernando Jail. What an experience! We felt spiritual opposition, but God’s presence gave us the victory in Christ! We can see in Miguel Lara that God is doing His work in his life. David and I are so proud of him, the last Reading Bible Study we were reading the story of Jesus with the Leper in Mark 1. The remarkable thing was what the leper did after he was clean, Mark said “he went out and began to talk freely about it, and to spread the news…” we uses that as encouragement to Miguel to visit the Jail.
Please pray for our new friends: Javier, Heriberto, Jose, Francisco (México) y Luis (Honduras).
This week, we will bring Bibles for Francisco and Javier. Please pray for them.

Please pray for us, we need the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ to accomplish what God call us to do, like apostle Paul asked to the Philippians

for I know that through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will turn out for my deliverance, as it is my eager expectation and hope that I will not be at all ashamed, but that with full courage now as always Christ will be honored in my body, whether by life or by death. For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
