Planting the Gospel in the empty field... Romans 15:20 And thus I make it my ambition to preach the gospel, not where Christ has already been named, lest I build on someone else's foundation... "....the gifts you sent, a fragrant offering, a sacrifice acceptable and pleasing to God.”
“I have received full payment, and more. I am well supplied, having received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent, a fragrant offering, a sacrifice acceptable and pleasing to God.” Philippians 4:18
“The apostle assures them that God did accept, and would recompense, their kindness to him. He did accept it: It is an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, well-pleasing to God. Not a sacrifice of atonement, for none makes atonement for sin but Christ; but a sacrifice of acknowledgment, and well-pleasing to God. It was more acceptable to God as it was the fruit of their grace than it was to Paul as it was the supply of his want. With such sacrifices God is well pleased.”
Matthew Henry
We praise God for the opportunity to serve Him in this ministry to reach the Immigrant community of DeSoto county Mississippi with the gospel of God in Jesus Christ.
We want to express our thanks to all of you who have and are supporting us, coming alongside of us in this very important and special ministry in all of its aspects.
Recently, our financial support has decreased because some of our contributors had a commitment for 2 years. I hesitate to mention this, because God has shown His faithfulness over and again for our needs. Please pray with us about an increase in our financial support, so that we can continue to meet are daily and monthly obligations in the way that will be honoring to the Lord.
Thank you for your prayers, Jaime & Sere Loayza.

We finished the Epistle of Ephesians, what a blessing was studying this epistle exactly for a year! And also we finished Series for 7 weeks “Making Disciples”. We celebrated that, and what a better idea to have a graduation. Each person who completed the series received a Diploma from Christ Fellowship as a recognition of their participation.

Please continue praying in order to God prepare our hearts for the new study and continue making Disciples.
Prison ministry at Hernando Jail.
Saturday, October 27th at Hernando Jail. We continue teaching about the Gospel of Mark.
David and I had a huge surprise. David told me that he prayed in order to have more inmates in the Bible Study last week . David told me: “Jaime, I asked God for just 4 more”. And God surprised us with 20 inmates!
Another amazing story was that one the inmates recognize me. Before summer, I went with Ps. Clint Wilcke and Daniel Stanphil to a funeral in Hernando from a man who was shot in Memphis. That day I met the family members. One of them, was this guy who told me at the Jail: Sir, do you recognize me? You were at the funeral of my brother. God’s sovereignty and providence allowed me to meet him for that moment. I encouraged him with God’s word.

"members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel"
"This mystery is that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel." Ephesians 3:6
“The mystery revealed
is that the Gentiles should be fellow-heirs, and of the same body, and
partakers of his promise in Christ, by the gospel; that is, that they should be
joint-heirs with the believing Jews of the heavenly inheritance; and that they
should be members of the same mystical body, be received into the church of
Christ, and be interested in the gospel-promises, as well as the Jews, and
particularly in that great promise of the Spirit. And this in Christ, being
united to Christ, in whom all the promises are yea and amen; and by the gospel,
that is, in the times of the gospel, as some understand it; or, by the gospel
preached to them, which is the great instrument and means by which God works
faith in Christ, as others.”
Matthew Henry

How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard?
“How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? 15 And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!" 16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?"17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.” Romans 10:14-17
“They cannot believe in him of whom they have not heard. some way or other the divine revelation must be made known to us, before we can receive it and assent to it; it is not born with us. In hearing is included reading, which is tantamount, and by which many are brought to believe (Joh 20:31 but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.): These things are written that you may believe. But hearing only is mentioned, as the more ordinary and natural way of receiving information. They cannot hear without a preacher; how should they? Somebody must tell them what they are to believe. Preachers and hearers are correlates; it is a blessed thing when they mutually rejoice in each other - the hearers in the skill and faithfulness of the preacher, and the preacher in the willingness and obedience of the hearers.”
Matthew Henry

"The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground."
"The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground. He sleeps and rises night and day, and the seed sprouts and grows; he knows not how. The earth produces by itself, first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear. But when the grain is ripe, at once he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come." Mark 4:26-29
“The husbandman, when he hath sown the seed, doth nothing toward the springing of it up; He sleeps, and rises, night and day; goes to sleep at night, gets up in the morning, and perhaps never so much as thinks of the corn he hath sown, or ever looks upon it, but follows his pleasures or other business, and yet the earth brings forth fruit of itself, according to the ordinary course of nature, and by the concurring power of the God of nature. Thus the word of grace, when it is received in faith, is in the heart a work of grace, and the preachers contribute nothing to it. The Spirit of God is carrying it on when they sleep, and can do no business”
Matthew Henry

"for a wide door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many adversaries." 1 Corinthians 16:9
for a wide door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.
He had long laboured in this church, and done much good among them, and had his heart set upon doing much more (if God saw fit), and therefore he had it in his thoughts to see them, and stay with them. Note, The heart of a truly Christian minister must be much towards that people among whom he has long laboured, and with remarkable success. Matthew Henry
“for a wide door for effective work has opened to me”…
By God’s grace I can say the same as apostle Paul, and we want to be diligent with every “door” that God will open to continue doing what He calls us to do. Please pray for our hearts to be faithful servants with the churches we are working with.
