Se termino el año 2013, en este año una vez mas podemos decir que Dios estuvo con nosotros y sobre todo hemos podido ver su gracia,  amor, misericordia y sus bendiciones en nuestras vidas y en el ministerio.
La mejor forma de comenzar el 2014 es teniendo los ojos de Dios sobre nosotros y obedecer el camino que El nos mostrara, esta es la única forma de disfrutar esta vida, la cual es muy corta y la mejor forma es vivirla para El y para su gloria!!!...

Queremos compartirte como dejamos el 2013 y como lo comenzamos, los amamos!!!

The first week of October we were busy with our kids , had a week of vacation.

The second week of October to the first week of November God allowed the Church Grace of God be again the organizers and hosts of our dear friends Sampley Family . We were able to present the Gospel to hundreds of students.
We visited different schools and churches presenting The Tramp and parent conference " Building Strong Families ".

Desde la segunda semana de Octubre hasta la primera semana de Noviembre Dios permitió a la Iglesia Gracia de Dios ser nuevamente los organizadores y anfitriones de nuestros queridos amigos la Familia Sampley. Pudimos presentar el Evangelio a cientos de estudiantes. Visitamos diferentes escuelas y Iglesias presentando El Vagabundo y la conferencia para padres " Construyendo Familias Fuertes".

We also had a lovely time collaboration  and the second misión trip of the Church Grace of God ( Iglesia Gracia de Dios )with our dear brother Edwar . We traveled to Ayacucho and were able to present the gospel publicly , visit different families and God opened the doors of a local radio Christian not to present the Conference for families and most importantly present the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ had for us more than one time on the radio. We see in all this the hand of God because the owner of the radio will be meeting with Edwar to read the Bible , Praise God !

También tuvimos un hermoso tiempo de colaboración y el segundo viaje misionero de la Iglesia Gracia de Dios con nuestro querido hermano Edwar. Viajamos a Ayacucho y pudimos presentar el evangelio públicamente, visitar diferentes familias y Dios nos abrió las puertas de una radio local no cristiana para presentar la Conferencia para las familias y lo mas importante presentar el evangelio de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, tuvimos para nosotros mas de una hora en la radio. Vemos en todo esto la mano de Dios porque el dueño de la radio se estará reuniendo con Edwar para leer la Biblia, Gloria a Dios!!!

These past two months God has challenged and encourage us  in the studies of Matthew.

We finished chapter 10 and we are about to finish chapter 11. The last two weeks we have learned a lot from John the Baptist. In chapter 11, Jesus introduces us to John the Baptist and learned the following:

John, Not one weak, much less insecure.

John was brave.

John was Prophet (who communicates divine truth)

John was the messenger of God. (Who by the Gospel of Christ)

John was humble.

John was committed to the vision that God had given him.

We were able to obtain the following conclusion for our lives: Christ desires of us his followers these characteristics.

Estos estos dos últimos meses Dios nos ha desafiado y animado con los estudios de Mateo. Ya terminamos el capítulo 10 y estamos por terminar el capítulo 11.

Las dos ultimas semanas hemos aprendido mucho de Juan el Bautista. En el capitulo 11, Jesús nos presenta a Juan el Bautista y aprendimos los siguiente:
 Juan, No era alguien débil, ni mucho menos inseguro.
 Juan Era Valiente.
 Juan Era Profeta ( quien comunica la verdad Divina )
 Juan Era el Mensajero de Dios. ( Quien comunica el Evangelio de Cristo )
 Juan Era Humilde.
 Juan estaba comprometido a la visión que Dios le había dado.

Pudimos obtener la siguiente conclusión para nuestras vidas: Cristo desea de nosotros sus seguidores estas características.

In August, God showed us more of His glory.  we traveled to Ayacucho with North American brothers, to help Edward´s Church in Pampa Cangayo. God allowed us to visit families to encourage them to come to church, God guided those who had prepared to receive the gospe.

We can say that there were several manifestations of faith, also we proclaim the Gospel in the Principal Park Cangayo Pampa.

On Sunday 18th was a beautiful time where we celebrate the birthday of Serenith with two other brothers of the Church. It was a nice surprise, we have cake and sing together.

On Saturday 24th we had our time "All united as Church" and we had a special guest. Her name is Esther Garcia, she is missionary in the jungle of Peru.  Her ministry is to start churches through reaching children in order  to reach their families. We are praying to support to Esther. We know it will be a challenge, since we are working far to support to 6 missionaries. We believe that the number 7 is the number that pleases God.

En el mes de Agosto, Dios nos mostro mas de su gloria. Estuvimos viajando para Ayacucho con dos hermanos Norte Americanos, para colaborar en la Iglesia que Edward esta plantando en Pampa Cangayo. Dios nos permitió visitar familias para animarlas a venir a la Iglesia, Dios nos guio aquellos que había preparado para recibir el evangelio, podemos decir que hubieron varias manifestaciones de Fe, también pudimos proclamar el Evangelio en la Parque principal de Pampa Cangayo.

 El domingo 18 fue un tiempo hermoso donde pudimos celebrar el cumpleaños de Serenith con otros dos hermanos de la Iglesia. Fue una linda sorpresa tener tortas y cantar juntos.

El sábado 24 tuvimos nuestro tiempo " Todos unidos como  Iglesia " y tuvimos una invitada especial. El nombre de ella es Esther Garcia, ella es misionera en la Selva de Perú, y su ministerio consiste en comenzar Iglesias a través de alcanzar a los niños, para poder luego alcanzar a las familias. Estamos orando para colaborar económicamente a Esther. Sabemos que será un desafío, dado que hasta la fecha estamos colaborando económicamente a 6 misioneros. Creemos que el numero 7 es el numero que agrada a Dios.

After being studying Matthew and see how Jesus preached the gospel, we also see John doing the same. I studied about the Bible preaching. I came to the conclusion Bible: Proclaiming the Gospel is, when we see the Old Testament we see that the prophets they did in the squares, as in the NT Peter, Paul ... When we look at the history of the early church preachers also they did, John Calvin, Martin Luther, John Wesley, George Whitefield ... I knew that God was encouraging me to start this kind of preaching, Proclaiming the Gospel "Proclaming  in the streets of my neighborhood" God ministries also use "Go Stand Speak" ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UVcvniMZUzg )  www.jeremiahcry.com.

God has given us the mood and willing to do so. Pray for it.

As a family, we go out to proclaim the Gospel in the streets near home 1 or 2 times per week. My faithful  partners  are my sons Esteban and Samuel, they are my helpers, they deliver brochures while I'm preaching ... "Glory to God!!!

We are praying to have our first outing as a Church and proclaim the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Luego de estar estudiando Mateo y ver como Jesús predicaba el evangelio, también vemos Juan haciendo lo mismo. Estuve estudiando respecto a la predicación Bíblica. Llegue a la conclusión Bíblica : Es Proclamar el Evangelio, cuando vemos el A.T. vemos que los profetas lo hacían en las Plazas, al igual en el N.T. Pedro, Pablo... Cuando vemos la historia de la Iglesia los primeros predicadores también lo hacían, Juan Calvino, Martin Lutero, John Wesley, Jorge Whitefield... Sabia que Dios me estaba animando a comenzar esta clase de predicación, Proclamar el Evangelio " Proclamarlo en la calles de mi vecindario " Dios uso también los ministerios de " Go Stand Speak " ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UVcvniMZUzg )  www.jeremiahcry.com.
 Dios nos a dado el animo y el querer para hacerlo. Orar por ello.

Estamos como familia saliendo a proclamar el Evangelio a las avenidas cerca de casa dos 1 o 2 veces por semana. Mis fieles compañeros son mis hijos Esteban y Samuel, ellos son mis ayudantes, ellos entregan los folletos mientras yo estoy predicando..." Gloria a Dios, a el sea la Gloria!!!...

Estamos orando para tener nuestra primera salida como Iglesia y proclamar el evangelio de nuestro Señor y Salvador Jesús Cristo.

This September, God has surprised us with the visit of Mr. Windish, he is a teacher  in the school of Stephen. He  is 70 years old, he is also a veteran of the war in Vietman, has a beautiful testimony. Mr. Windish was looking for a Church and has decided to stay with us. Fernando Tovar is his  personal translator for each Sunday.

We are also very happy because Carlo Ortega's mother visit on Sunday. For us it is an answer to our prayer and pray to God that she comes again. She Heard the góspel very clearly this Sunday.

We are glad for the Baptism of my uncle Israel. During the time of discipleship he has shown on a sumicion and obedience to God's word. Thanks for your prayers, God is doing his work in his life. We can really see God's power in the life of my uncle, that show every Sunday.

Este mes de Septiembre, Dios nos ha      sorprendido con la vista de Mr. Windish, el es profesor en el colegio de Esteban, tiene 70 años, el también es un veterano de la guerra de Vietnam, tiene un hermoso testimonio. Mr. Windish estaba buscando Iglesia y ha decido quedarse con nosotros, Fernando Tovar es nuestro traductor personal para el cada domingo.

También estamos muy alegres porque la mamá de Carlo Ortega nos visito el domingo. Para nosotros es una respuesta de oración y rogamos a Dios que ella regrese nuevamente. Si podemos decir que ella escucho el evangelio muy claramente este domingo.

Estamos alegres por el Bautizo de mi tio Israel, durante todo el tiempo del discipulado el a mostrado mucha obediencia y sumisión a la palabra de Dios. Gracias por sus oraciones, Dios esta haciendo su obra en la vida de mi tio. Realmente podemos ver el poder de Dios en la vida de mi tio, por los frutos que el demuestra cada domingo.

I am excited because we have one year studying the gospel of Matthew and just at this time we are studying chapters 9 and 10. We know that it is no coincidence and we are sure that God is challenging his little church "Grace of God".
This verse was part of the last studies, we learned together:

Matthew 9
"The great call and instructions"

Matthew 10:
"Assuming the Great Commission" Part 1: I need to be brave, I need a special behavior and purpose to witness ...

"Assuming the Great Commission" Part 2: Come experience: 1st To be handed, but not alone.
The 2nd I need to be hated and persecuted for a evidence.
The 3rd Satisfaction in Him

In the last few months God has given us to understand part of the plan and purpose of being a church home.

We believe that our vision is on the missions, that this is God loves most.
We can also say that the brothers of Grace of God Church  have the same mind. We know that we are not perfects and we don´t have the experience, ability and we don´t have many things that have other Churches, this is not important because we believe that God is powerful and he is the owner of his work and our desire is to be obedient to the commandment that God has given to his Church ": ... and you shall be witnesses in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth" ...

But we must begin in our Jerusalem... when we started we were just my family in the first meeting ... Today we are 17 with kids ... Glory to God! ... In the month of June we had a special event. The Church organized a lunch for father´s day,we  invite unbelievers and nonbelievers friends. It was a beautiful time. We were able to preach the gospel, there was a time of testimonies and the word of God was sown.

Estoy muy emocionado porque tenemos 1 año estudiando el evangelio de Mateo y justo en este tiempo estamos estudiando los capitulos 9 y 10. Sabemos que no es casualidad y estamos seguros que Dios esta desafiando a su pequeña Iglesia " Gracia de Dios ".

Este versiculo fue parte de los ultimos estudios, donde juntos hemos aprendido:
 

Mateo 9
"La gran convocatoria y sus instrucciones"
Mateo 10 :
" Asumiendo la Gran Comision " 1ra Parte: Necesito ser valiente, Necesito una conducta especial y el proposito ser testigos...
" Asumiendo la Gran Comision " 2da Parte: Vamos experimentar:
1ro Ser Entregados, pero no estamos solos.
2do Necesito ser aborrecido y perseguido para una evidencia.
3ro Satisfaccion en Él.
 

En estos ultimos meses Dios nos ha dado a entender parte del plan y propósito de ser una Iglesia casera.
 

Creemos que nuestro enfoque esta en las misiones que es lo que mas ama Dios.
Tambien podemos decir que los hermanos de la Iglesia Gracia de Dios tienen un mismo sentir. Sabemos que nos somos perfectos y que no tenemos la experiencia, la capacidad y los medios como muchas Iglesias, lo cual no nos afecta porque creemos que Dios es poderoso y dueño de su obra y  nuestro deseo es ser obedientes al mandato que Dios a dado a su Iglesia " :  ...y me seréis testigos en Jerusalén, en toda Judea, en Samaria, y hasta lo último de la tierra"...
 

Pero debemos comenzar en nuestra Jerusalem...cuando empezamos éramos solo mi familia en las primeras reuniones... hoy somos 17 con los niños... Gloria a Dios!!! En el mes de Julio tuvimos un evento especial. La Iglesia organizo un almuerzo para invitar a los padres no creyentes y amigos no creyentes.
 

Fue un tiempo hermoso. Pudimos predicar el evangelio, hubo un tiempo de testimonios y la palabra de Dios fue sembrada.

In this June we changed the church name. Because the brothers they wanted to identify with a name more agree to our context. Still we have the same colors as of Lake Forest Baptist Chuch and also the same missionary heart!

En este mes de Junio cambiamos de nombre a la Iglesia. Porque, los hermanos querían identificarse con un nombre mas acuerdo a nuestro contexto. Sin embargo tenemos los mismos colores de Lake Forest Baptist Church y también el mismo corazón misionero!!!

This photo was taken by a sister of the Church. The man who is standing behind Samuel is my uncle, my father's brother, he was agnostic and a month ago he received Christ as his Savior. For us is amazing news because for years the word was sown in his heart.
The man with the tie, is Beto Jara he is from Argentina, and the lady with the baby is his family.

 Beto, studied with me in Argentina, some months ago returned to Peru, his testimony is shocking, Beto lost his arm when he was 16 because he lived on the streets because lived on drugs. Now he has a ministry reaching the lost on the streets for drugs here in Lima Peru.
Beto, accept to be collaborating with us in some activities from the Church, we would like as a our church here to be helping him financially because they don´t have no support.
The next week from his visit ( June 8th ), our church had an activity for showing compassion in our community and sharing the gospel. We gave a breakfast to the poor people around the neighborhood, was a beautiful time. We could share the gospel and showed God´s love.

Esta foto fue tomada por una hermana de la Iglesia. El hombre que está de pie detrás de Samuel es mi tío, hermano de mi padre, que era agnóstico y hace un mes que recibió a Cristo como su Salvador. Para nosotros es una noticia sorprendente porque durante años la palabra fue sembrado en su corazón.

El hombre de la corbata, es Beto Jara que es de Argentina, y la señora con la bebe es su familia.
  Beto, estudió conmigo en Argentina, hace unos meses volvió a Perú, su testimonio es impactante, Beto perdió su brazo cuando tenía 15 años, porque vivía en la calle porque vivía en las drogas. Ahora tiene un ministerio de alcanzar a los perdidos en las calles por las drogas aquí en Lima Perú. Beto, acepta de colaborar con nosotros en algunas actividades de la Iglesia, queremos como nuestra iglesia aquí a ayudarlo financieramente, ya que no tienen ningún apoyo.

A la semana siguiente de su visita ( 8 de Junio ), la iglesia tenía una actividad para mostrar compasión en nuestra comunidad y compartir el evangelio. Dimos un desayuno para los pobres en todo el barrio, era un tiempo hermoso. Podríamos compartir el evangelio y mostró el amor de Dios.

On Saturday June 6th we had our 1st workshop on Evangelism, Beto Jara was dictating the workshop. The purpose of the workshop was for the brothers to to learn and remember because it is necessary to preach the gospel Biblical evangelism . It was a beautiful time for the Glory to God.

Thanks for your prayers for Arturo. God used a proof in Arturo's life for the return to the ways of God. This week, we began meetings every day at 8am to study the Bible. We give thanks to God and for His Holy Spirit who convicts us of sin.
